About Chay Han Kee

  • Since 1966 — the business was formally registered in 1972. It began in a small shop on Shaw Road (Jalan Kenanga), Kuala Lumpur. Following the passing of the founder, his wife carried the business forward, laying the foundations for the generations that followed. Sixty years and three generations on, we're still family-run — supplying noodles and dumpling skins to food businesses across Malaysia.
  • Restaurants, hotels, hawkers, retailers, distributors and food manufacturers across Malaysia. Our customers range from celebrated Chinese-cuisine kitchens to the neighbourhood hawker stall — and every order gets the same care.

  • Our factory is at No. 52 Jalan 4, Pandan Indah Industrial Park, 55100 Kuala Lumpur. As a certified food-manufacturing facility, we operate behind closed doors to protect hygiene and food safety — so if you'd like to visit or collect an order, please let us know in advance and we'll prepare for your arrival. For food businesses, we're always glad to host you and provide samples.

Products

  • Our range is built around three families. Wanton Noodles: Hong Kong-Style Wanton Egg Noodles and Mee Pok. Specialty Noodles: Spinach Noodles, Japanese Ramen, Taiwan Noodles, Hakka Noodles and Shanghai Noodles (La Mien). Dumpling Skins: Egg Dumpling Wrappers, Egg Wanton Wrappers, Gyoza Skins, Dim Sum Skins, Dumpling Wrappers and Wanton Wrappers. And custom — noodles and skins developed to your own specification. Across the range, sizes and thicknesses can be tailored to suit your kitchen.

  • Yes. Our products are available fresh (chilled) and frozen.

  • Yes. Some of our products, such as our Shanghai noodles (La Mien), are made without egg, and we offer a number of vegetarian options across both noodles and dumpling skins. Tell us your requirements and we'll point you to the right ones.

  • Gladly. Whether you're serving soup noodles, stir-fried dishes or a specialty cuisine, tell us about your menu and cooking style and we'll recommend the products that suit your needs best.

  • Yes. Alongside our core range, we produce seasonal and specialty items depending on demand.

Custom & OEM Manufacturing

  • Yes — this is one of the things we do best. Beyond the standard sizes and thicknesses in our range, we custom-manufacture for top-tier noodle restaurants and industrial food producers — tailoring recipe, colour, cut and packaging to your needs. Minimum order quantities apply to custom items.

  • If you have an existing recipe or specification, talk to us. Our team will work with you to match it — or we'll happily develop something new together, from the ground up.

  • We can manufacture under agreed specifications, including OEM, contract and private-label arrangements. Get in touch to discuss your product and packaging requirements.

  • We offer a range of packaging formats to suit different businesses. Contact us to discuss what fits your products best.

Quality & Food Safety

  • Yes. All Chay Han Kee products are certified Halal by JAKIM — a certification we've held since 2018, covering our full range.

  • Yes. Contact us and we'll share our current JAKIM certificate for your records and compliance needs.

  • No. Our noodles and dumpling skins are made with wheat flour, and wheat is handled throughout our facility, so our products aren't suitable for gluten-free diets.

  • Our products are made in a facility that handles wheat (gluten) and egg, so traces may be present in any product. Allergen information is printed on the packaging — contact us if you need further details.

  • Storage differs between fresh, frozen and dried products — follow the instructions on the packaging to keep everything at its best.

  • It varies by product type and storage conditions. Check the packaging, or ask us for product-specific details.

Ordering & Samples

  • Reach us through the enquiry form, by phone or by email. Tell us a little about your business and what you're looking for, and we'll take it from there. And if you're starting a new food business, we'd be glad to work with you from day one — developing the products your success is built on.

  • Minimum order quantities vary between standard and custom-made products. Tell us what you need and we'll confirm the details.

  • Samples are available for food businesses — get in touch to arrange them.

  • It depends on the product, quantity and our production schedule. We'll confirm an estimated timeframe when you place your order.

  • Our focus is supplying food businesses: our sealed packaging comes in trade sizes designed for commercial kitchens rather than home use. Individual customers are still welcome to get in touch — we'll advise the best way to buy based on what you need.

Delivery

  • Contact us with your order details as soon as possible — we'll sort it out promptly.
